To
cope with increasing pollution problem, HRS has launched
a plantation project with the financial aid of 2 lacs, provided
by the Federal Environment Protection Department, Govt. of Pakistan.
To get 100% results from this project, we have got
co-ordination of all relevant departments & district
administration at local level.
We started plantation on the bank of 3
adjacent canals of River Jehlum at the site of District
Complex building, Mandi Bahauddin (known as Teen nehri), the one of the most beautiful place
in the area.we planted there 5000 plants .
This
project has been completed in record one year time and definitely is a source
of fresh air to adjoining areas and has also become a picnic point for
general public. We have also given a suggestion to Environment
Protection Department, Govt. of Pakistan, for provision of funds for
tree plantation on other side of the canal bank .
We
hope that our suggestion will be kindly considered by the concerned Department and we will be provided another chance
of plantation in near future to serve the humanity.
HRS completed a project of betterment of environment for the people of
mohallah Islam nagger by the sponsor of European union fund trust organization.
Which repaired 6 unstructured streets. Eight Lac rupees were spent on this project.
We come to know by the survey of HRS, that close bathrooms do not exist in villages.
This problem causes many diseases to the villagers. Poor villages can not afford the expensive
treatment for such diseases. That's why there is huge need to work and solve this problem by
constructing more close bathrooms in their houses.
